i
want everyone (who is looking for a place to
stay in kiev) know that Alex's Kiev Hotel
Service is a superb place to stay; i've traveled
in many cities across europe staying at hotels,
guesthouses/apartments - by far, his place (at
least the Mikchaylivska Square location where i
stayed) is much superior; although he was out of
town half of my stay, he made sure that all my
needs are met; he KNOWS how to treat his
customers right with respect and courtesy; he is
extremely helpful and personable to deal with,
not to mention quite flexible; my trip date to
kiev was postpone twice and he accommodated
accordingly without hesitation or complaints;
when i first arrived at the apartment near
Mikchaylivska Square, i was in awe - with the
price i've paid, it was definitely worth it;
absoultely first class with satellite tv, stereo
sound system, new washing machine, large
bedroom, dresser, drawers with medium size
living room in newly renovated apartment; when i
go bk to visit kiev next time, i will not stay
anywhere else but at his place! thanks alex for
making it all possible;;

Before and during my five-day trip to Kiev to
visit my Ukrainian girlfriend, Alex provided the
kind of customer service that only a friend
would provide in that country; He showed genuine
interest to address in detail all of my
inquiries related to safety and logistical
matters, and made arrangements for theater
tickets; At my request, he was able to get
tickets at one of the very front rows during an
opening performance (the theater was packed that
day!); During my stay, he was available on his
cell phone and provided good information about
restaurants, jazz clubs, sightseeing
opportunities; The apartment on Dessatynaya
street was very clean, warm, very well equipped
and at excellent condition; The building is
located in the downtown area and within walking
distance from all of Kiev’s major attractions;
There were always taxi cubs just around the
corner; The neighborhood is very safe at all
times (even after midnight); Overall, my
experience was outstanding and I will use Alex's
service without second thought next time I will
be traveling to Kiev; Alex, thank you very much
for your professionalism; You definitely

faced a very nerve-racking experience, arranging
to meet my girlfriend for the first time; I
never knew how complicated it was to obtain a
Visa and arranging flights to tie in with
booking the accomodation; I sent many e-mails to
Alex, of which I am eternally grateful to him
for all his time and help; He is genuinely
motivated to delivering excellent customer
service, which gives a very professional image
of his company; I had a fantastic time in Kiev,
and meeting my now fiancée was all i was worried
about, as Alex gave me peace of mind in all

would not be as good as it was described on the

had to stay a week in Kiev for the organisation
I work for; At less the half of the price of an
hotel I had a very nice and comfortable
appartment in Pavlovska Street; This is a very
quiet area; All the things you need, shops,
restaurant, bank are only a few steps away from
the appartment; The service that Alex provided
was really very good, a very comfortable trip
from and to the airport, and a very friendly and
quick service if I needed something; Oly one
word : "Great";

just returned from a delightful 12 day stay in
Kiev; It was wonderful! Alexander’s hospitality
and the comfort and convenience of my apartment
at Kiev Hotel Apartments (Desyatinnaya
Street)made my visit very enjoyable; Alexander
was exceptionally patient with my many questions
before I arrived, offering as much information
as I needed; Though I didn’t need his assistance
during my stay, he provided me with his number
and other useful telephone numbers in the event
I needed help; Of course, being met at the
airport and being transported to my apartment
was a great service; If I return to Kiev, I will
certainly call upon Alexander again; It is much
more economical and comfortable than hotels; I
highly recommend “Restaurant Kniazhy Grad”
located adjacent to the Desyatinnaya Street

In
April 2002 we had a great 5 day holiday in
Kiev,blue skies and sunshine; We were very happy
with the accommodation and the information
Alexander gave us; It's great to be met at the
airport and taken to where you're staying;
Having read in all the guidebooks that Kiev is
"the most expensive city in Europe" we were
delighted to discover the opposite was true! For
a start,it's excellent value to stay in the
apartments, then there's the wonderful self
service restaurant Alexander told us about, and
most of all several visits to the opera sitting
in the front stalls listening to top class
singers, we'd never have afforded that at Covent
Garden! These were all unexpected bonuses to a
city which lived up to and exceeded all
expectations of grandeur;We certainly hope to
return some day - maybe to take a cruise up the
river next time; Thankyou!

spent 6 days (and 5 nights) in Kiev and it was
great; We spent all days walking through this
very impressive city; A lot to see (catherdrals,
builings, Iron lady) and to do (musea, opera);
We liked it very much; The appartment was great;
Especially were it's situated: in the heart of
the old centre; The bedroomwindow looks out to
St; Michael Monestry ! Alexander was very nice
and told us interesting facts about Kiev; Thanks
for your warm welcome and information; We liked
it very much to stay in an appartment instead of
a hotel; It's very recommendable :-) !

recently spent 15 days in Kiev,(September
11th/26th/01) During my search for a place to
stay I came across Alexander's website and his
Hotel/Apartment Service in Kiev; Upon my initial
contact he was very fast to get back to me and
awnser all my questions; I must have drove him
crazy with all the emails regarding particular
items and if they were available; Again he was
very quick to respond and awnser all my
questions in a very professional and positive
manner; The apartment was everything he promised
and then some; He was always available to awnser
any questions and make suggestion's; I would
highly recommend Alexander and his staff to
anyone looking for a nice, quit, inexpensive and
safe place to stay; I will be going back to Kiev
in the very near future and will be arranging my
accomadations through Alexander again, that's if
he has place available; I had a great time
during my stay and really enjoyed the people and

centrally located in an upscale neighbourhood,
and inexpensive; The advice on your website was

a city out of a George Orwell novel, and I was
very pleasantly surprised: I felt safe, even
alone at night; There was no evidence of crime
or harassment; The residents of Kyiv were happy
and ploite, and fun to be with; There were shops
and ATM's everywhere, that accepted all of my
bank and credit cards; The local convenience
store had excellent food and western drugstore
items, and even stocked my favorite (and
somewhat hard to obtain) brand of single malt
